New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 answer key soon on its official portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with the answer key, candidate response sheets and question papers will also be made available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who took the UGC NET June 2026 exam can download the answer key by logging in with their application number and date of birth.The exam was held from June 22 to 30.

The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2026 exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30, 2026. The exam was held at various exam centers across the country and candidates appeared for 87 subjects.

How to download UGC NET Answer Key 2026?

Candidates can download the provisional answer key with the help of the easy steps given below.

  • Step 1. First of all go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • Step 2. Click on the link of UGC NET Answer Key 2026 on the homepage.
  • Step 3. Now the login page will open.
  • Step 4. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Code.
  • Step 5. Click on the Submit button.
  • Step 6. The provisional answer key and response sheet will appear on the screen.
  • Step 7. Take a printout or download the PDF and keep it safe for future reference.

How to raise objection on answers?

If a candidate has any objection to any answer given in the provisional answer key, they can challenge or file an objection online within the stipulated time limit. All objections received by the NTA will be examined by a committee of subject experts. If any objection is found to be correct, necessary amendments will be made to the final answer key. The UGC NET 2026 result will then be declared based on this.

How much is the objection fee?

To challenge the answer key, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The fee can be paid through modes such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. The result will be declared after the final answer key is released.

After the objections to the provisional answer key are resolved, the NTA will release the final answer key. Based on this, the result of the UGC NET June 2026 exam will be declared.
