TRT’s Aamir Arrested For Abusive, Double-Meaning YouTube Videos; 5 Million Followers Shocked
YouTuber Mohammad Aamir has been arrested in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, for posting an objectionable video. Aamir had posted a video on his YouTube channel in the guise of a sadhu and abusing. After which he faced huge opposition on social media.
National News: YouTuber Mohammad Aamir Arrested: YouTuber Mohammad Aamir has been arrested in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of spreading hatred in the society and hurting religious sentiments. Aamir had made a video in the guise of a sadhu in which he was seen using obscene and abusive language. After this video went viral, people demanded strict action against Aamir on social media.
The accused, Aamir, runs a YouTube channel named Top Real Team (TRT), which has more than 50 lakh subscribers. He posts comedy content on his channel, which often goes viral. But this time his act landed him in jail. The police took immediate cognizance of the matter and arrested Aamir after investigation.

In the video, he abused in the guise of a saint
The matter came to light when social media user Aman Thakur shared a clip of Aamir's video on X (formerly Twitter) on July 24. In this clip, Aamir is seen in the guise of a sadhu, and he is seen using extremely objectionable language. Sharing this video, Aman Thakur wrote, "Action should be taken against the Aamir TRT channel for broadcasting obscene, antisocial, and indecent content towards women on social media."
Police took immediate action
Moradabad police immediately responded to this post and wrote, "In this regard, the police station in-charge of Pakbada has been directed to investigate/take necessary action." After this, the police took action against Aamir and arrested him.
Official statement from the police
The police said in its official information, "A complaint was lodged against YouTuber Mohammad Aamir in the Pakbara police station of Moradabad. Aamir was continuously uploading objectionable, provocative, and insulting videos on his YouTube channel. Investigation revealed that Aamir has made such videos, which spread confusion and hatred in the society."
According to police officials, Aamir was not the only one involved in making such videos. Other people may also be involved with him. Police is now closely investigating other videos present on Aamir's channel.
