Some of these slips were such that they attracted everyone's attention, from the members of the temple trust to the social media. Someone prayed for a good job, someone prayed for admission in a medical college, while the note written by a young man became the most talked about topic.

The temple trust opened the donation boxes for the month of June in the presence of bank and district administration officials. During the counting, lakhs of rupees in cash, silver offerings and old coins along with a large number of vow slips written by devotees were also found. These slips were kept safe separately.

The slip written by a young man caught everyone's attention. He prayed to Lord Shiva and wrote that he wanted to become rich soon. Along with this he also made many resolutions to himself. He wrote that he would not dream unnecessarily, would not make any promises without thinking and would not go to anyone's house until his monthly income reached one lakh rupees.
The last line of the slip was different. The young man wrote that he would not look at any handsome boy on the street until he reached his goal. This unique resolution surprised even the people present there.
Were Prayers also sought for studies and jobs?
Other slips from the donation box also revealed different wishes of the people. A student had prayed for success in Re-NEET exam and admission in Government Medical College of Madhya Pradesh. Many devotees wrote their vows wishing for government job, good health, family happiness, relief from financial crisis and success in children's studies.
How much offering came out of the donation box?
According to the Temple Trust, Rs 5 lakh 52 thousand 580 was received from the donation boxes for the month of June. Apart from this, pairs of silver snakes and some old coins were also found. A team of about 20 retired bank employees and postal department officials were involved in counting the donation amount.
