Riyadh: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is on a visit to Saudi Arabia. Doval's visit comes amidst rapidly changing geopolitical dynamics in West Asia. On Wednesday, Doval met with Saudi Arabia's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor, Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. During the meeting, Doval discussed bilateral issues with Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. The discussions covered bilateral cooperation as well as regional and other issues of mutual interest.

In a post on the social media platform X, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh said that their discussions included bilateral cooperation, regional issues, and other matters of mutual interest. The post stated that NSA Ajit Doval had a productive meeting with the Saudi Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor, His Excellency Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. The discussions covered bilateral cooperation as well as regional and other issues of mutual interest.
What about Saudi Arabia-India Strategic Relations?
Doval arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday for an official visit. This reflects the growing strategic relations between India and Saudi Arabia. According to the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, he was received at the airport by India's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Suhail Ajaz Khan, and Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati.
His visit comes shortly after Saudi Arabia condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Red Fort terrorist incident on January 28. At the third meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Security Working Group under the Strategic Partnership Council's Political, Consular, and Security Cooperation Committee, both sides condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
