No Direct Hit by Israel-Yet Two Top Iranian Commanders Dead in 5 Days
Two senior Iranian commanders died within days, sparking speculation as no Israeli attack has occurred during the ongoing ceasefire. Conflicting explanations for their deaths have raised serious questions and global curiosity.

National News: There is a ceasefire between Iran and Israel; there has been no attack from the Jewish country, yet Iran has lost two of its commanders in the last five days. Iran's state media has announced the death of a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander. His death comes five days after the death of Ali Taeb, who was Iran's top security official.
According to Iran, Ghulam Hussain Ghebparvar, deputy commander of the Imam Ali Base of the Revolutionary Guard, has died. The cause of his death is currently being said to be the chemical weapon used in the war between Iran and Iraq in 1988. It has been claimed that the chemical injury suffered at that time became the cause of his death. His condition was never disclosed before. However, when he visited the city of Qazvin in northern Iran last month, he was wearing a mask on his face.
Ghebparvar held many important positions in the IRGC
Ghebparvar, known as Shahram in Iran, has held several important positions in the IRGC. From 2016 to 2019, he led the militia Basij. He oversaw the paramilitary confrontation with protesters. The same year he was appointed deputy chief of the Imam Ali Base. This base commands battalions formed in 2011 during the reign of then President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Its soldiers have often been seen in black uniforms at every nationwide protest, who are known to beat up and detain protesters. They are supported by the Sarallah Base, which oversees the security of the capital, Tehran. It was targeted in Israeli attacks only last month.
Ali Taeb died last week
Ali Taeb, another prominent security official of Iran, died five days before Ghulam Hussain Ghebparvar. This was announced last week. He was a former representative of the Supreme Leader Khamenei. His brother Hussain Taeb has also been the chief of the intelligence organization of the IRGC. Taeb died some time after a gas explosion in a multi-story building in Tehran. However, his death was described as natural.
Israel had killed many Iranian officials
Israel launched attacks on Iran on 13 June. This military operation lasted for about 12 days, in which Iran's military bases as well as nuclear sites were targeted. During these attacks, Israel also killed senior Iranian military officials. Many military personnel, nuclear scientists, and civilians were killed in Israel's air strike; in response, Iran also attacked, in which 27 Israeli citizens were killed.
The confrontation with Iran is not over
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced that Israel has a ceasefire with Iran, but if Iran does not withdraw its nuclear program, the conflict will continue. He also said that Iran will have to give up its stubbornness to make nuclear weapons; if this does not happen, then Israel will attack again and foil Iran's evil intentions.
