There were reports of armed attacks in 12 cities of Balochistan including Quetta, since early Saturday morning. BLA has described it as the second phase of ‘Operation Hereof.’ The Baloch organization claims that at least 20 Pakistani security personnel have been killed in this action so far, while the army has had to retreat in many areas. In the video released, armed fighters can be seen patrolling the streets openly.
How did the situation worsen in Quetta and other cities?
According to Balochistan Post and local sources, for the first time the presence of such a large number of BLA fighters has been recorded in the capital Quetta.
