8 People died of hunger in Gaza: The situation in the Gaza Strip is constantly deteriorating. On Sunday, a horrific incident took place at a relief distribution center near Gaza City, when Israeli soldiers opened fire on people who had come to get food items. At least four people died in this firing. Such incidents are happening repeatedly to civilians gathered to get relief. So far, more than 2,000 people have lost their lives in the firing on the crowd looking for food in Gaza, while more than 13,500 people have been injured.

Deaths due to hunger also increased

Not only the firing in Gaza, but the food crisis is also proving to be fatal. On Sunday, eight more people died due to hunger. In this way, 289 civilians have died of hunger so far in this famine-like situation, including 115 children. The United Nations has officially declared Gaza City and its surrounding areas as famine-affected areas.

International aid efforts

Given the dire situation, international relief efforts are underway. In collaboration with the Israeli Air Force, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, and Indonesia carried out a joint operation and dropped food supplies from planes. However, due to the ongoing conflict and limited distribution capacity, this aid is also not able to reach people on the ground in sufficient quantities.

Rally in support of Gaza in Australia

Voices are being raised across the world regarding the pitiable situation in Gaza. People in many cities of Australia took out rallies and expressed their anger against Israel's actions. The protesters demanded their government impose sanctions on Israel and play a more active role in providing humanitarian aid to the citizens of Gaza.

Humanitarian crisis deepens

The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip has further deepened the humanitarian crisis. On the one hand, people are risking their lives by standing in queues for hours to get relief, while on the other hand, the shortage of food and medicines has made life unbearable. International organizations say that if the situation does not improve soon, the number of deaths due to hunger and disease may increase rapidly.
