Bangkok Horror: Fire At Packed Pub Kills 27, Injures Dozens

Bangkok: A fire broke out in a pub in Thailand's capital Bangkok early Monday. 27 people have died and many are injured in this accident. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital. As soon as the fire broke out, there was an outcry in the entire area.

How did the fire start?

A fire suddenly broke out in a pub in the northern area of  Bangkok at around 12 o'clock in the night. The fire was so intense that it spread throughout the building within a moment. People who were partying inside ran out to save their lives, but due to the smoke, many people got trapped inside.

What was the condition of the spot?

It was seen in the video that high flames were coming out of the pub and black smoke was reaching the sky. The fire spread so quickly that people did not get a chance to escape. After the accident, the police surrounded the entire area.

What did the PM of Thailand say?

The PM reached the spot and confirmed the death of 27 people. He said that the injured are undergoing treatment. Investigation has been started to find out the cause of the fire and a report has been sought soon.

Why were people trapped in the toilet?

It is being said that seeing the fire and smoke increasing, some people hid in the toilet of the pub to escape. But the smoke was so thick that they could not come out. The rescue team found several dead bodies inside the toilet.

When was the fire brought under control?

Many fire brigade vehicles arrived as soon as the information was received. The fire could be extinguished after about half an hour of effort. Everything inside was burnt to ashes – tables, chairs, walls. The team searched for a long time by removing the debris.

What will happen now?

The police and forensic team have sealed the place. Now only after investigation will we know how the fire broke out. At present, this is considered to be one of the biggest pub accidents in Bangkok.
