Hong Kong Plans 9 Hour Dhurandhar Marathon, Showcasing Both Films Back-To-Back

People in Hong Kong, are going crazy about the spy-thriller,  'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', even one theatre has started ‘Dhurandhar’ marathon, which will show both the films back to back.

Mumbai: 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which is directed by Aditya Dhar'is performing well in India and worldwide. The craze for the Ranveer Singh-starrer is being felt not only in the country but also abroad. Due to the weekend, the film benefitted, boosting its earning. The spy-thriller till now has surpassed 'KGF: Chapter 2' in worldwide collections.

But now people in Hong Kong, are going crazy about the spy-thriller, even one theatre has started ‘Dhurandhar’ marathon, which will show both the films back-to-back.

What is Dhurandhar marathon?

The Hong Kong has planned a special event called Dhurandhar marathon. In this event both Aditya Dhar’s films will be screened back-to-back. The total runtime of the Ranveer Singh-starrer will be almost 8 hours. 

Thinking about audience comfort, the theatre will also provide three breaks during the Dhurandhar marathon.

The marathon screening has been announced Dhurandhar’s Hong Kong distributor AA Tech.

Taking to social media, the Hong Kong distributor said that this Dhurandhar marathon has been planned in view of the great response the film is receiving in the country.

How is Dhurandhar performing in Hong Kong?

The marathon screening of both films in Hong Kong shows the craze for ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

The box office figures of the country also reveals that film is performing brilliant there. The box office tracker Nishit Shaw said that on Sunday Dahurandhar 2, without Chinese subtitles, is the first Indian film that has crossed $1 million landmark. 

And with the 12th day earnings, Dhurandhar 2 is very close to reaching the $2 million mark in Hong Kong.

What is the film about?

The spy-action thriller, led by Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, drew large crowds in the theatres.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the franchise reveals the origin of Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi, which is played by Ranveer Singh, and also shows the backstory, while explaining the motivation. The film will explain the reason how Jaskirat turned into Hamza and will also reveal who is bade sahab.
