In a 2011 episode of Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable, Anushka broke the silence. Yes, she admitted she was attracted to Ranveer. But, and it’s a big but it never turned romantic. "We’re two very different people," she said, adding that if they’d dated, "we would desire two entirely different things from the relationship." 

"Volatile" is an understatement

Anushka characterized their relationship as "highly volatile," "full of fire but no long-term fuel." She said, "He is very pragmatic, and I am totally impractical."
